Spatter particles

Particles ejected during electron-beam deposition of a powder core tubular wire comprised of aluminum alloy 2024 and reactive powder fill. The process produces a metal matrix composite by an in-situ reaction. Imaged in secondary electron mode at 20 kV in a plasma FIB/SEM.
