Opportunities for Students at M&M 2018!
Submit a Paper
Over 300 students present papers (platform and poster presentations) annually at the Microscopy and Microanalysis meeting. You can find full symposium descriptions for the Scientific Program here.
Win an Award
The Microscopy Society of America (MSA) and the Microanalysis Society (MAS) annually sponsor awards for outstanding papers contributed to the Microscopy & Microanalysis (M&M) meeting, which are competitively judged based upon the quality of the submitted paper. All full-time students enrolled at accredited academic institutions are eligible for student awards. High school, undergraduate, and graduate students are encouraged to apply. MSA also provides cash awards to the most outstanding student posters (first author) each day (up to one in each of three categories).

MSA StC is a student-led organization that provides a platform for students, postdocs, and early career professionals to network, share experiences, discuss research, and simply get involved with the most dynamic group of young professionals that microscopy and microanalysis has to offer!
